Darth Revan is one of the most legendary and complex characters in Star Wars lore, originating from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR). He was a Jedi Knight who became a Sith Lord, then later redeemed himself, making his story one of the most fascinating in the franchise.

Revan’s Rise: The Jedi Hero

Revan was originally a brilliant and charismatic Jedi Knight during the Mandalorian Wars. When the Jedi Council refused to intervene in the brutal war against the Mandalorians, Revan and his best friend Malak defied them, leading a group of Jedi into battle. Revan’s leadership was instrumental in defeating the Mandalorians, but his exposure to war and the dark side changed him.

Revan’s Fall: The Sith Lord

After the war, Revan and Malak discovered the True Sith Empire in the Unknown Regions and fell to the dark side. They returned to the galaxy as Sith Lords, declaring war on the Republic and nearly conquering it.

• Revan was a tactical genius, using brutal but effective strategies.

• He created a Sith Empire and sought to unite the galaxy under Sith rule to prepare for a greater threat—the True Sith.

Revan was reborn as a Jedi, unaware of his past. Under the guidance of the Republic, he helped fight against Malak and the Sith Empire. Eventually, he regained his memories but chose to redeem himself, defeating Malak and destroying the Sith stronghold on the Star Forge.

Revan’s Mysterious Fate

After the war, Revan disappeared into the Unknown Regions, believing the True Sith (the ones who originally corrupted him) were still out there. He was later captured and held in stasis by the Sith Emperor Vitiate for over 300 years.
